My Second Idol
Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler is an Austrian born German politician who became the dictator of Germany from 1933 until his suicide in 1945. He was born on the 20th of April 1889 in Braunau Am Inn, Austria-Hungary, now know as Austria. When he was young he had a hard relationship with his father who usually beats him up and a nice relationship with his mother, who took care of him most of his life. He was a confident kid and had a very outgoing life, until his brother died, which caused him to have conflicts with his father and the teachers. He had dreams of becoming an artist, however his father placed him in an technical school, which he rebelled against. When he was older, he applied to The Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, which he was rejected and was suggested to apply in architecture, however he lacked the credentials for it because he did not finish secondary school. When he was young, he was exposed to racist anti-semite rehetoric, however it wasn't bad. When WW1 happened, he joined the Germa Armed Forces and fought in France in which he was awarded the iron cross, and fought until he was decommissioned for injuries. When the war ended, he became a spy for the government on political parties. He then joined the Nazi Party in which he became the leader.
In 1933, he became the chancellor of Germany and ruled as its dictator until 1945. He then implemented some reforms in Germany to strengthen Germany and anti Jewish laws, and made The Holocaust happen. He also started WWII by attacking Poland and fought with allies such as France, Britain, and America. In 1945, Germany lost the war and he killed himself before Germany crumbled.
He is a very inspirational person, although his action are very bad, most of his intentions were mostly good. He wanted to bring back Germany to its former glory. He had good intentions, he just did it wrong. My favorite quote from him is "Anyone can face victory but only great people can face defeat." It has a very good meaning, as it means that great people, are people that can accept defeat and learn from it, and achieve victory.
